This butterfly which showed signs of being torn and battered by life paused briefly to remind me …
It’s still flying!
Perhaps, like me, you sometimes need to be reminded that though we’re surrounded and battered by troubles, and we’re not much to look at, we’re not demoralized. We may not be sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do, and although we’ve been spiritually terrorized, God hasn’t left our side. Yes, we’ve been thrown down, but we haven’t broken.
So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.
Meditate on it.

A wonderful message! Due to arthritis in my neck and spine, I can’t do everything I want to do. I can’t run or even walk fast like in my younger years. Yet, God has given me blessings throughout my illnesses, cancer, physical pain and more. He is good. He loves us so much. He gives opportunities every day for us to show His love to others.
Yes! God works all things together for good…Rom. 8:28 I appreciate your optimism and insight. Thanks for stopping by.
