Are you a risk-taker? Is God directing you to do something, but you’re afraid to take the leap? You may think it’s better to remain in the safety of your comfort zone, but what do you risk if you remain there?
What if Moses hadn’t left Egypt? Noah hadn’t built the ark? Rahab hadn’t hidden the spies? Esther hadn’t entered the king’s presence? What if the disciples hadn’t walked away from their livelihoods? Peter hadn’t stepped out of the boat? The lame man hadn’t taken that first step?
What if you don’t either?
“Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.” —Proverbs 29:25, NIV
Now it’s your turn. Will you risk it?

What seems like a risk is only a risk if you forget who has your back! When God calls you to do something, He already has a plan to make it happen. He’s already said “Get in the boat and go to the other side”. When we dare to get in the boat, the other side is sure to happen. He is our almighty “….God, who gives life to the dead and calls into being that which does not exist.” Romans 4:17.
Amen! Thanks for commenting, Jean.
