Letting go isn’t easy, but holding on is harder. Refusing to relinquish the past, good or bad, makes it impossible to move forward and enter into the life God has destined for us.
Even Christ let go. If he hadn’t, imagine where we’d be.
Jesus gave up his throne in heaven to become a man. Later, he let go of his earthly ministry to fulfill His Father’s plan for our redemption. He relinquished everything so that through our hope in him, we could gain heaven.
Ah, HOPE — the one thing we must never let go.
